Wavelength in DWDM-channel

The transport service of the first level “optical patchcord” is the data transfer via dedicated communication channels DWDM (for trunk lines) and CWDM (inside settlements). In fact, this is a fixed non-routable point-to-point link with a constant ordered bandwidth at a selected wavelength through a fiber-optic Milecom network.

Buying separate wavelengths, the user receives full control over the transmitted information, without capital costs for building their own communication infrastructure. This gives independence from the active equipment of the supplier.

To provide the service, Milecom is ready to build a “last mile” optical fiber to the telecommunications operator’s node and organize a connection with transmission capacity of up to 10 Gbit/s.
